Acceptable use policy

Last updated October 3, 2026

Faxpresso, a service of DYKOS Media Inc, is for everyday business faxing. To keep the service working for everyone, and to keep our numbers off blocklists, these things aren't allowed.

No junk faxes

  • Don't send advertisements to people who haven't agreed to receive them. In the US this is also against the law (the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the Junk Fax Prevention Act).
  • Every advertisement you send must include a working way to opt out, and you must honour opt-outs.
  • No broadcast faxing: sending the same fax to long lists of numbers.

No illegal or harmful use

  • Nothing fraudulent, deceptive or illegal, such as fake invoices, phishing, or pretending to be someone else.
  • No harassment or threats, and no repeated faxes to someone who has asked you to stop.
  • Don't send content you don't have the right to send.
  • No patient health information (PHI). Faxpresso isn't HIPAA compliant today.

Don't abuse the service

  • Don't try to get around page limits or daily limits, for example by opening many accounts.
  • Don't resell Faxpresso numbers or service without our written agreement.
  • Don't try to break into, overload or reverse-engineer the service.

What we do about it

If we see a breach of this policy, we may limit sending, suspend the account, or close it, depending on how serious it is. Where we can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We'll keep receiving faxes for you while we sort it out, unless the law requires otherwise.

Received a junk fax from a Faxpresso number? Email [email protected] with the number it came from and the date, and we'll look into it.
