No meter running in the background
Most fax services charge 3 to 15 cents for every page over your allowance. Faxpresso doesn't charge for extra pages at all.
500 pages a month covers a busy small office. If you go over, we email you first and slow down sending instead of billing you. Receiving is never blocked, so you won't miss a fax.

Good questions, answered
Do I need a fax machine or a phone line?
No. Faxpresso gives you a real fax number that lives online. People send faxes to it from any fax machine, and you send faxes from your browser or phone to any fax machine.
What happens if I use more than 500 pages?
You're never charged extra. We email you at 80% and 100% of your 500 pages. Past that, sending is limited to 100 pages a day, and at 1000 pages sending pauses until your next billing date. Receiving never stops. Fair use, in plain words.
What counts as a page?
One physical page, sent or received. A cover page counts as a page. Junk faxes you receive count too, even when the filter moves them to Spam. Faxes that fail to send don't count.
Can I keep my current fax number?
Yes, at no charge. Most US local numbers can move to Faxpresso. You get a temporary number right away, and the move usually takes one to three weeks. How it works.
Is Faxpresso HIPAA compliant?
Not yet. Please don't use Faxpresso to send or receive patient health information. Faxes travel over encrypted connections within our service, but we don't offer the agreements and controls HIPAA requires today.
How do I cancel?
In Settings, choose Cancel, then confirm. That's it, with no phone call. Your service runs until the end of the month you paid for, and you can download all your faxes first. What happens when you cancel.
