Delete your account

In the app or on the web

1. Sign in to Faxpresso in the iPhone or Android app, or at faxpresso.com.
2. Open Settings, then Delete account.
3. Confirm. If you want to keep your faxes or your number, download your faxes and move your number first; the page shows you how.

Can't sign in?

Use the form on this page. We'll email a confirmation link to the address on the account, so nobody else can delete it. You can also email [email protected] from that address.

What gets deleted

• Your account, sign-in details and settings
• All your sent and received faxes, and your contacts
• Your waitlist sign-up, if you have one
• Your saved card is removed from our payment provider

Deletion is immediate and can't be undone. Copies in our backups are overwritten within 30 days.

What we keep

Invoices and payment records, because tax law requires us to keep them (usually for 7 years). They hold your name, billing details and amounts, not your faxes.

Your plan and fax numbers

Deleting your account cancels your plan straight away, so you're not charged again. Your fax numbers are released. If you want to keep a number, move it to another provider before you delete your account (a one-time $10 per number).
